
Vice President of Foundry Operations
Andy formally joined Tech Cast Inc. in 1992 and has worked in all departments as both skilled laborer and manager. He has held a variety of management positions within the company, including Project Engineer, Off-shift Superintendant, Finishing Supervisor, Melting Supervisor, and Engineering Manager. As listed, his current position is VP of Foundry Operations.
As VP of Foundry Operations, Andy is charged with the responsibilities of all foundry manufacturing operations and is responsible for any related functions and support departments while focusing his efforts to meet customer delivery commitments and stringent quality demands.
Andy is a graduate of Millersville University with a degree in Industrial Technology and a minor in Occupational Safety and Health Management. Prior to attaining his degree he worked at Quaker Alloy manufacturing large sand castings. Upon graduation, he began his career full time in the investment casting industry as a casting engineer. He also has a year of aerospace/IGT investment casting experience with Howmet Corporation. Andy’s latest emphasis is on Lean manufacturing concepts with a recent completion of a Lean Certification, and he is now currently working towards completion of a Lean Champion Certification.
